New York — AVATAR Studios, New York's legendary audio recording and mixing facility, is pleased to announce an alliance with J. D'Addario & Company, Inc., the recognized leader in the manufacturing of bowed and fretted instrument strings, drumheads, and musicial instrument accessories, to grow the studio's creative community.

Recently J. D'Addario and Avatar Studios evaluated how to best serve their mutual clients: musicians and engineers. The agreement states that D'Addario will supply Avatar with their guitar strings, string winders, earplugs, guitar picks, music paper and accessories for musicians. In addition, there will be a full compliment of stools, Evans drumheads, and Planet Wave cables that will all be used in-house during recording sessions. Musicians will be pleasantly surprised when they find that everything they need is immediately available on-site at Avatar. The high quality of D'Addario products complements the caliber and quality of artists and engineers who record at Avatar. The association with a major studio like Avatar will benefit D'Addario in terms of exposure and promotion.

A 24-hour facility, AVATAR is completing construction on two additional editing suites and has just added an outdoor, rooftop deck for clients to relax between their recording sessions.
