Avatar Studios brings you the best of analog and digital. We have many vintage equipment as well as state-of-the-art equipment to meet any of your recording needs.

On the digital front, we use Pro Tools HD Accel Systems in every room.

Continuing the tradition of analog excellence from The Power Station days, we have one of the world's largest collection of Pultec equalizers. We have at least 8 Pultec equalizers in each of our four premiere rooms. Some rooms have 10 to 12 units.

In addition, our outboard gear includes among many things:

• Fairchild 670 Stereo Tube Compressor (pictured above)
• Telefunken V77 Tube Microphone Pre-Amps
• Weiss ADC2 A/D converter.

We have two live chambers and a bank of reverb plates:

Live Chamber #1 - our high demand (often the first choice) chamber runs full height of the building. Used in many classic recordings such as Roxy Music's album Avalon.

Live Chamber #2 - our smaller yet popular chamber is used on guitars, vocals and drums.

Bank of EMT Plates - a total of 8 EMT-140ST plates

Any chamber / plate can be patched into any studio by request. Because of their popularity, It is best to reserve in advance.
