  • The 50th Annual Grammy Award Show was held on February 10, 2008 and River: The Joni Letters by Herbie Hancock, recorded in Studio A, received two Grammys for Best Album of the Year and Best Contemporary Jazz Album. Djin Djin by Angelique Kidjo, mixed in Studio B, also received a Grammy for Best Contemporary World Music Album. Congratulations to all the Grammy recipients.

  • Avatar Studios received 2 TEC Awards - for both the Outstanding Creative Achievement Record Production/Single or Track category for John Mayer's "Waiting On The World to Change" and the Outstanding Creative Achievement Record Production /Album category for John Mayer's album, Continuum at the 23rd Annual TEC Awards Ceremony which took place on October 6, 2007 during the AES Conference.
